Hall, Walt & Baca Wines launch the 2022 season of its Celebrity Happy Hour series

(ST. HELENA, CALIFORNIA – January 20, 2022) – ROOM, WALT and BACA Wines, a collection of three family-owned wineries located in Napa and Sonoma counties, announced the launch of another season of their celebrity Happy Hour series. The series is airing on three different social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook Live weekly on one of the respective brand channels. The Happy Hour series premiered on April 2, 2020, with over 200 shows produced through December 2021.

“During the start of the pandemic in the spring of 2020, we looked at different creations ways to keep our audience engaged and keep wine conversations top of mind,” says Winemaker Jennifer Brown. “Launching the first season of the show and really focusing on the wine lifestyle with each of our guests has allowed us to connect in new and compelling ways -our club members and fans sipped with our hosts and guest, and he really feels like we’re all enjoying a laid-back Happy Hour experience together. The 2022 The season will continue to focus on producing dynamic and engaging shows that allow our public in the lives of our guests, ask questions in real time and discover new projects everyone is working on.

Created by winemaker Kathryn Walt Hall and produced in-house, Happy Hour gives viewers an unscripted look behind the scenes of the lives of celebrities, artists, athletes, comedians, Broadway stars, authors, magicians, etc. Each episode aims to inspire creative conversations while sipping a new HALL, WALT or BACA wine.

Guests joining the show in the Happy Hour 2022 lineup include Jimmy Kimmel, HGTV’s Christina Haack, futurist Jason Silva, Grammy-winning opera singer Isabel Leonard, Emmy Award-winning Shohreh Aghdashloo, and many more.

Kathryn Walt Hall is the owner of HALL Family Wines and has been involved in the California wine industry since her family first purchased vineyards in the 1970s. She has had a distinguished career as a successful businesswoman, lawyer, community activist, and United States Ambassador. United in Austria, appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1997. A mother of two, Kathryn is fluent in French and German, earned a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, a joint MBA from UC California, Berkeley & Columbia University and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

After eight years of restaurant management, including three years at Morton’s Steakhouse in San Francisco, Jeff joined HALL Wines in 2006 to establish his club membership program which has become one of the most successful Direct to Consumer efforts in Napa Valley. In 2016, Zappelli was named General Manager of WALT Wines, making him responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the Sonoma-based brand. Zappelli is an active speaker throughout the Bay Area, participating in conversations and panels related to consumer direct trends, wine industry technology, sales as science, CRM, and direct marketing. A sports enthusiast and father of three, Jeff was born in Seattle, WA and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology.

Daughter of winemaker Kathryn Hall, Jennifer Brown leads HALL Family Wines’ newest brand, BACA, which is Latin for ‘berry’, a modern Zinfandel wine brand. Jennifer leads brand development, marketing strategies and operational plans, and wholesale channels. Prior to working at HALL Family Wines, Jennifer was the founder of Omghow/Girl Karma Inc., a social platform and positive destination for teenage girls. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and both an MBA and a law degree from Stanford University. Fluent in German and a mother of two, Jennifer is an avid hiker and yoga enthusiast and incorporates wellness and clean living into her daily routine.
