Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic dates announced for 2022

The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic food-focused event returns to Walt Disney World on November 11-12, 2022.

Now in its 13th year, the two-day street party-style celebration of all things food and wine returns to the pavement at the Swan and Dolphin resort, with unlimited food and drink tastings created by the award-winning chefs of each hotel.

Gourmet food selections include the tender Hand Crafted Smoked Pork Belly from Smokin’ D’s BBQ, the Angus Beef Tenderloin from Shula’s Steak House, the Maryland Crabcake Slider from Garden Grove, the Shanghai Dumpling from Chinatown and the succulent Tuna Poke from Pig & Poke.

Customers can also sample bottomless drinks from around the world, including wines from Argentina, Australia, California, France, New Zealand, and more. local and seasonal beers with “snack bar” pairings in a beer garden setting; and the delicate sakes of TyKu Sake.

Tastings take place along the causeway, which includes themed areas such as the beer garden, as well as a carnival corner and festive bubble lounge.

This year’s event sees the return of interactive food and drink seminars led by the resort’s expert culinary team.

Gastronomy and Wine Seminar

Featured seminars on November 11 are Pasta Making with Chef Dan, The Basics of Bubbles (the Basics of Champagne), Better Wine Making in Italian, and Wine Blending.

The November 12 seminars are Beer, Please!, Craft Cocktails and Wine Blending.

Seminars cost between $75 and $95 per person, plus service fees. There are no refunds and all sales are final.

Each night’s celebration is supported by live entertainment, encouraging guests to dine, drink and mingle.

Guests don’t have to be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort to participate, but those who want to extend their fun can make it an evening to remember with an on-site reservation that keeps them “in the magic.”

The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day. Non-refundable tickets cost $165 per guest aged six and over ($174.24 with resort fee; children five and under are free with an adult).
